Hotel Grifo

LikedOur room was easy to get to on 2nd floor, clean, spacious for Rome standards and came with a nice breakfast. We slept like babies! Shower water pressure was great. Front desk staff was outstanding, very helpful with questions and getting taxis. Highly recommend! When searching for locations, I found Hotel Grifo to have a nice price in a central, fun neighborhood. Lots of places to eat, drink and be merry all around! Our golf cart tour guide told me I picked her favorite neighborhood to stay, Monti 😄

LikedThe hotel is located in a wonderful spot, you’re within 10 mins walking distance from most attractions. We were in a room in the annex and we came out of our front door to look at the Colloseum at the end of the street! Lovely clean room and bathroom. Wonderful helpful staff. Alen gave us his mobile number in case we had any problems and the reception staff gave us excellent recommendations for dinner nearby. One night we asked for a Pizza restaurant, the next night a pasta restaurant and the third night a good place for Lasagne.

DislikedI would have liked a plain or almond croissant for breakfast and more of a choice of breads.

LikedThe location of the hotel was ideal and the breakfast wonderful. The staff was very kind and helpful for whatever we asked (especially Alen and Donatella). The room was very clean. For our convenience, as we went early in the morning, we were given an early check in to a better room at no extra charge. Overall everything was great and we will definitely stay at the same hotel again on our next visit to Rome.
