Hotel Giotto Flavia

LikedI loved how clean the room was, it actually exceeded my expectations! Moreover, they were changing the bed sheets and towels every single day. The little mini bar was a nice touch with good prices. The area was beautiful and safe and it was surrounded by lovely restaurants. If you don't mind walking 30-40 mins then you can reach all important places of the city. I really thought that it was great!

DislikedRooms could have been slightly larger but it's expected given that the building is old. Just don't bring huge luggage with yourself. With good organisation it can be achieved. The elevator also did not work in our last few days, but it was not such a huge bother for us as we only had to go 2 floors up.

LikedExactly what we were hoping for in our stay in Rome. Small but cosy. Facilities had what we needed - some slightly broken taps but nothing that impacted our stay. Would stay here again

DislikedWindows do not fully close, so noise is annoying at night.

LikedThe location - very closed to everything, a lot of restaurants near by, a small shop with fresh and delicios fruits and vegetables, the bed was confortable, nice stuff.

DislikedThe breakfast, don't reserve it, I mean it, no, no, horrible and only sweets. Not even real coffe, no beans, just instant from the machine. The towels were dirty, I've asked them to bring others, ok, done, but still. The room is not isolated and we could hear all the noise in the world. We didn't have proper soap at first and shower was clogging; anyways, in Rome, you are leaving in the morning and come back in the evening.

LikedThe staff were so lovely and helpful, gave us lots of recommendations for sites and things to do, plus restaurant ideas for us. Our flight home was changed last minute and we had to leave the hotel at 4am but the staff were so accommodating and organised a taxi for us to the airport :)
