Hotel is as central as it can gets, within very short walking distance to the Duomo n many of the other sights in Florence!! There's also a Carefour express grocery outlet three doors away. Hotel staff are super friendly n helpful n the breakfast provided was not too lavish but more than sufficient!! Bathroom is a bit small but nothing to be concerned about. Highly recommended!

I had requested a twin room on Agoda at the time of booking but wasn’t given one due to non availability. Was given a room on the 3rd floor. Access was via a steep staircase as the property does not have a lift!! Really difficult to climb up with luggage but was helped by the porter who I felt bad for. Room was in the loft with very basic facilities and my 6’2” tall son was unable to stand up tall. Location was excellent and staff were very friendly.

LikedIt was clean and modern. The staff was friendly checking in and very accommodating to get a taxi so early in the morning we had to leave the hotel at 3:45 am.
DislikedWe didn't realize it was 10/15 minutes to the airport. I thought it was right before the airport. It was a 30 Euro cab ride

Good location, an old hotel which needs some upgrading. Friendly and accommodating staff, some of the rooms are very very small. Breakfast was ok, adequate but quite basic. There is quite the contrast between rooms sizes so that makes a bit difference on your stay. For the price it's fine and the location is great, but it definitely would benefit from some upgrades.

Arrived at 8pm trying to check in. Hotel mentioned having a parking service - I drove from Rome to arrive there; hoping to avoid the ZTL fines that is in effect till 7pm. The satnav in the car did not recognise the hotel; Waze was incorrect. With the maze like roads of Florence we had difficulty accessing the road leading to the hotel. Once there we unloaded the bags, but the roads were so narrow we could not reliably park curbside. The valet parking took at least 30 minutes to arrive; and to retrieve the car it was another 30 minutes. All for 40 euros more per night of parking. I found the night staff reception a little unhelpful in this regard to help us in what was a stressful check in. Otherwise the experience has been good.
