Genova Hotel is very nice, clean, up-to-date hotel and the location is perfect for anyone arriving via Roma Termini station. The breakfast is very nice with a wide variety as well. A few things to note in advance — (1) the tram runs in front of the property and can be somewhat noisy in the evening and early nighttime hours (was not a deal-breaker or anything, though). (2) For such a nice property I was surprised that the rooms (maybe the superior rooms are different?) all have only disposable cups, glasses, etc and have no decorations to speak of (no artwork, flowers, statues… just empty). Again, not really a big deal but definitely noticeable. (3) Most importantly, the Wifi connection is dreadfully slow and unstable. I ended up not using it at all and stuck to data roaming instead just to save myself the annoyance. Truthfully this was a pain, more so for my wife who needed to unexpectedly get some work done. We made due though. I enjoyed my stay all in all, but would probably choose a different hotel next time.

LikedThe staff Omar and Anthony were very helpful and friendly The rooms were spacious and clean The hotel is very conveniently located to Rome Termini train station A 5 minute walk Breakfast was good

DislikedThe shower head was spraying water onto the wall I was unable to adjust Fortunately there was also a hand held shower so I used that We had a early tour on the 1 morning so we were given a packed breakfast which was very disappointing It was just biscuits, toast, jam with water and juice

LikedThe hotel location is great, quite close to many great restaurants and trattoria. It is also a walking distance from Roma Termini, which is quite convenient. Good wi-fi Lovely front desk staff

DislikedVery over priced for what you get, basic hotel, disappointing breakfast, no facilities to mention whatsoever No air-conditioning, but windows can be opened (which can be noisy) If it was not for the location will not be staying there
