Hotel Canaletto

LikedThe breakfast was the best thing about this hotel. The location is close to the Rialto Bridge. However, it can be a little hard to find at first.

DislikedAs in old hotels in Venice, access to 1st floor rooms requires stairs, which can be inconvenient if you have heavy luggage.

LikedWe just come back from the most amazing stay at this hotel. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a canal view room due to it being our wedding anniversary! The room was beautiful and in the new part of the hotel. It has been renovated to a very high standard. The beds were so comfy and the room was cleaned daily. The staff were wonderful, friendly and so helpful even walking us to the point our water taxi was collecting us for the airport. We only had breakfast on the last day but the selection was very good and you could have as much as you wanted. There is a lovely little restaurant just across from the hotel in a tiny peaceful square where we had 2 lovely meals and we thoroughly recommend it. The hotel is well positioned close to the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square but just far enough away from the hustle n bustle. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

DislikedNo plug at the side of the bed Air conditioning could have been cooler but not too much of a problem for our stay in April Compact bathroom (but still had everything we needed!)
