DislikedThe smell of sewage permeated different parts of the hotel. Also giving a 75 year old man a room with steps up and down to the bathroom. Potential liability.

LikedThe breakfast was great and so were the staff. The actual hotel looked really good but it had far too many annoying faults for a 4* hotel

DislikedThe smell of bad drains from time to time in the room and stair wells wasn't nice. Our friends room which was next to ours smelt so bad that they relocated them to another room. The door handle on our bathroom door kept falling off and you couldn't shut the bathroom door because the latch was badly fitted. In the bathroom you couldn't run a sink full of water as the plugs wouldn't close off so you had to wash from the running tap and the taps themselves were difficult to control the temperature and flow rate, they looked great but were awful to use and the ones in the shower were even worse, a case of form over function!
