Hotel Al Piave

LikedGreat little hotel in a perfect location for touring around the city. Breakfast was good, room was nice, and the staff were very helpful and kind. It was also great to have the elevator available to reach our room on a higher floor. I would definitely stay again!

DislikedMy only minor issue was that our first day in Venice was quite cold, wet, and windy, and the radiators in the room had (I believe) been turned off for the season. I know it was very warm in Venice the prior week, but would have been nice to have the option of heating the room on the chilly day. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

DislikedIt was a bit too hot in the room : the heater was still on and impossible to stop it, and not recommended to open the windows because of mosquitos.

LikedThat it was right in the centre of Venice but unobtrusive, and peaceful of an evening. Staff were relaxed and friendly. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern, with a walk in shower. The air con was perfect!

DislikedThe room was a little on the small side but we realised space comes at a premium in Venice. It didn’t spoil the stay at all.

LikedLoved the architecture and furniture, went with the vibe of Venice. I booked the single room so I expected it to be small but it was still pretty spacious for a small room.

DislikedThe walls are really thin and the bathroom wasn’t inside the room. I had to leave the room and the bathroom was opposite but next to another room. I could hear the water running and peoples voices clearly which wasn’t ideal. Earplugs are a must. But the location and staff really made up for it.
