LikedGreat location. Rooms were small, very plain, limited counter top space. They were far less than expected for the huge price (over $500 USD/night). Not even a hot pot until we asked for one. We were hugely disappointed given the price we paid.

DislikedNoise, the hotel states soundproof _ not so. We were given a room under a kitchen which was incredibly noisy. The breakfast (we did not think) was up to the standard of others similar hotels. There is no bath in a suite, hence better to book a standard room.

LikedA grand hotel in every sense with friendly and efficient staff. Fabulous shower and very comfortable bed, with excellent quality bedlinen. Huge terrace! Kettle, coffee machine much appreciated, plus cups and mugs. A jazz bar/restaurant just around the corner was great.

DislikedThe bathrobes and towels were a little threadbare, considering the price of the junior suite. I felt it was a bit mean charging extra for an omelette, and staff at breakfast were not as attentive as those at reception and in the lobby.
