LikedBreakfast was very substantial and the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms and view are stunning and the outside bar area is lovely. Great location.

DislikedWe were in room 311 a “deluxe” room next to the lift which was very noisy. We requested to change rooms and even down ground but was told no. We used ear plugs for the additional 2 nights as it was so noisy. Also with people talking outside our room late at night (1st night a dog barking outside our room) and early morning (5:12 am). Sleep/rest was not great. Reception staff were very unhelpful with this and also when we requested a taxi to pick us up from our car rental drop off location was told this was not possible.

LikedLovely hotel close to Siena centre yet detached enough to enjoy the peace and quite. Beautiful views from the breakfast terrace and the room and bathroom were quite spacious and very comfortable! Would love to return. Breakfast was also very good and varied! Easy private parking near the hotel entrance

LikedVery peaceful, large beautiful property with walking paths, outside eating areas, and vistas. Lovely old hotel with many painted and coffered ceilings and antique carpets, etc. On site restaurant was excellent

LikedThe rooms were lovely, as was the hotel. I was in the main building which is very attractive and attractively furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Very nice views from the windows and nice and quiet.

DislikedThe only thing that let it down a bit was the dining room which is a bit bland, and utilitarian, for instance, all of the breakfast urns were still out. The lighting was also just bright and utilitarian. The food was good though and the staff were lovely.
