Booked this hotel since the europe tour we joined at starts and ends here. However, we found the hotel quite old. It is very challenging for those travelling with huge luggage like us since you'll have to carry it 2 stairs from entrance going to the front desk/lobby. Hotel staffs are not that friendly. One time we asked if they could help us get a taxi going to the city center, we were told to book our own since their system(being used to book a taxi) is unavailable. The front desk staff really looked uninterested in helping us at all. When we got back from the tour, we had to stay at this hotel for 2 more nights before the tour officially ends. We were given keys and it did not work on our door. I had to go back and forth 4 times at the front desk before they sent an maintenance staff to help us in opening our door. During breakfast, we saw a group who looks like a family getting water refill at their personal bottles, restaurant staffs are aware of what the family was doing so we thought it was allowed. So my husband got our bottle from our room to refill our water. Unfortunately, he was stopped by a staff and was told it is not allowed. We honestly felt we were discriminated during that time. We were already checking out that day, that is why we no longer made a big deal out of it. Over all, we did not like the service, facilites and room are old already and location is not ideal if you don't have much budget to take a taxi everytime you'd want to visit famous tourist spots in rome. There are more options for better hotels that is near rome city center that is about the same price with this hotel.
