Dore Hotel

LikedSmall och modern hotel. We had a nice room with a sea view. All the staff we came into contact with seemed very polite and service-minded. Food nicely presented and everything was kept very clean and tidy. Nice pool area. Chill atmosphere while we were there. A quiz one evening and Greek musicians and dancers the next, so nice for those who don’t want to get out and about in the evening.

DislikedThis is probably not on the hotel but there is some rough ground around the hotel premises that detracts a bit from the lovely impression of the hotel. The hotel could landscape it if they had the possibility?

Liked+/- Location: in a tourist area which has many tourist shops, restaurants, bars, Marina beach, near bus station, sea view, … but far from the center although can be reached with bus for 1.5 Euro/person or by taxi for 15-18 euro. +/- All-inclusive: Good healthy Mediterranean food with a wide range of choices but if you have some previous exclusives you should adjust your expectations. + Cleanness + Staffs + Medium size pool +... LikedI travel a lot and I stayed in many hotels in my life. This hotel has the most friendly staff I've ever seen. Their friendliness comes naturally.

DislikedI didn't like the fact that bottled water is not part of all inclusive concept. You can have purified water from the machine but it's pretty warm.

Liked- Clean, good variety of food, relatively close to the beach (only a few minutes walk), spacious rooms (triple room). - The restaurant personal was very friendly and always there to make you feel comfortable.

Disliked- The bed mattress were not so comfortable. I felt all the springs of the mattress. - Bathroom door did not close (it was fixed after reception was acknowledged). - Loud noise when you flush the toilet (not so fine in the middle of the night). - Lastly but equally important, the cleaning personal (but not only) was noisy. It was impossible to have some quite time during the afternoon. This is only my experience! Other may feel different! Overall I was happy staying here!
