LikedThe property was a lovely guest house, with beautiful decor and history. The small retro elevator was charming, and luckily I didn’t have too much luggage. Our room was upgraded to a terrace room which was amazing (likely since we only stayed one day in the middle of the week). The breakfast was delivered to our room and it was delicious. The bed was very firm, but I didn’t mind.

DislikedWe had a little trouble turning on the air con, but the staff helped us and it worked well.

LikedIt was in a great area, close walking distance to the train station, restaurants, and local attractions. Major plus: it has a lift/elevator for getting luggage upstairs.

DislikedThe room was not as described - booked a garden view but got a wall with trash cans underneatg. Management tried to extract hundreds of euros more for the garden view I already paid for. The room was terrible in other ways too - TV in shower areas and you couldnt see it from the bed. Tiny desk hidden in the closet. Although the front desk woman agreed the room had a “garden wall” view; not garden or courtyard, they refused to provide a refund and told me to stay elsewhere if I didnt like it. The front desk woman (Elena?) said she didnt want to be working at the hotel anyway.

LikedLocation was brilliant. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Felt very secure.

DislikedHad to eat breakfast in room..no dining room. Very restricted choice. An awful lot of flourish , but lacking in substance in certain areas. No bathrobes no slippers....coffee machine didn't work properly...reported it but still didn't work. Not really value for money felt a little caged. Somewhat disappointing.
