LikedLocation next to train station if you need the train.

DislikedThe room was not as described - booked a garden view but got a wall with trash cans underneatg. Management tried to extract hundreds of euros more for the garden view I already paid for. The room was terrible in other ways too - TV in shower areas and you couldnt see it from the bed. Tiny desk hidden in the closet. Although the front desk woman agreed the room had a “garden wall” view; not garden or courtyard, they refused to provide a refund and told me to stay elsewhere if I didnt like it. The front desk woman (Elena?) said she didnt want to be working at the hotel anyway.

LikedLocation was brilliant. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Felt very secure.

DislikedHad to eat breakfast in room..no dining room. Very restricted choice. An awful lot of flourish , but lacking in substance in certain areas. No bathrobes no slippers....coffee machine didn't work properly...reported it but still didn't work. Not really value for money felt a little caged. Somewhat disappointing.

LikedCentral location. Hotel has stylish decoration. They use very good skincare products.

DislikedThey did not help us with our luggages. There should be some kind of assistance to carry our luggages. They did not put slippers in the room. Staff was not very polite. It is central location with noisy environment.

LikedStaying at Casa Howard was one of the most pleasant experiences and a highlight of our trip thus far. The room we stayed in, the game room, also known as the terrace room was as charming as could be! The terrace is so peaceful and quiet and is such an added bonus! The location is great, too. Not too far from the train station, yet close to shops and restaurants. The staff at Casa Howard was so welcoming and very accommodating as well. We loved our stay in Florence and Casa Howard and would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely stay here the next time I travel to Florence.
