Hotel & Residence Quark Due Milano

LikedAlmost nothing and it is not acceptable that this hotel is rated with four stars as it is definitely way less than this. I will not recommend it or stay here again

DislikedOverall the property needs a renovation and proper cleaning. The room was cleaned only once during our stay and still dust balls and rotten food was under the furniture, the bath tub was dirty with yellow stains and the shower curtain covered with mould, we had to ask for towels as they did not provide enough, we had to buy our own toilet paper as only the minimum is provided upon arrival. It is absolutely outrageous that the conditions offered apparently should match four star hotel experience - this is definitely not the case. The entrance lobby is old with ripped sofas and overall the hotel is extremely uninviting. Stained wallpaper and lamps, kitchen with zero equipment so practically useless, garbage bins not emptied so we had to get rid of our own garbage ourselves- I have never done this in a 4 star property

DislikedPretty much everything. cleanliness, location and staff were all terrible. When we arrived the room had two single beds pushed together not a double bed, the room had opened snacks from the previous guest in a drawer, it wasn’t clean and dust was everywhere. the staff really didn’t seem to care at all and had poor attitudes in general and had no empathy for our filthy uncleaned room upon arrival! Strongly advise you to stay somewhere else in Milan!

LikedRoom was very spacious

DislikedThe hotel is in desperate need of a makeover. Everything is old and very used. The couches in the lobby look like they are 100 years old, the wear on the fabric is extreme. in the bathroom the ceiling had water infiltration stains. Also, there were small ants in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok-ish but lacked vegetables form the menu.

LikedEven though the sofa bed in the apartment has springs and I was expecting to wake up with a crick in my neck, it was surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. It was very big too - could fit 2 people comfortably. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a big balcony (7th floor) even if there wasn't much of a view, it was nice to be able to go out and just breathe some air. The location is okay, near bus stations that will take you anywhere else in the city and they come frequently.

DislikedThere were only 2 sets of towels in the apartment expecting 3 people. The rooms were clean, but we did find a Mcdonald's soda empty cup on the balcony.
