LikedWonderful place, few meters away from San Michele and Napoleon squares in the very heart of Lucca. My room was very large and comfortable with a truly amazing view of San Michele cathedral and the Apuane mountains behind, Rachel was a superkind guest. I fully recommend to stay in this place if you're visiting the beautiful Lucca.
DislikedNothing to say only that my room was at the 4th floor: some stairs are the price to pay to stay in heaven ! ;-)

LikedIt was a great location.
DislikedThe only reason I did not rate the room higher was because of the insane amount of stairs. The reception was on the 3rd floor so we had to carry our luggage up to the reception area. And them it was 3 more flights after that. It got to be a lot since we went in and out of the room on an average of 4 to 6 times a day.

LikedThe property location is as good as you will get within the walls of Lucca. I like the few flights of steps up to the room because you need to walk off the great food you eat while in Lucca! The room was spacious with a great balcony to sit out on in the morning and evening. The reception staff were lovely and the cleaning was great. Check in was straight forward, as was check out. We really enjoyed our stay here.
DislikedWe loved the property. We did buy our own electric kettle. There is a fridge and lots of room so a cheap kettle would be a great asset.

DislikedThe staff. We arrived in the evening. We rang the doorbell but no one answerred. I called the number on the website, and the Manager/owner told me that someone will come in 5 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting I called him again several times, but he didn't answer. Someone did come after 30 minutes, a very rude lady who oferred no appology.
