Had a nice stay here on a short trip. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station so very convenient. It’s nothing fancy but works just fine. Only thing to be aware of is there’s no aircon. Yogyakarta cools off somewhat at night so it’s not too bad but definitely something to note. Staff is friendly and it’s also fairly quiet which is a big plus.

Disliked- it is called a two person bedroom, but it has a 1 person bed. Together with the warmth it was hard to sleep

LikedThe location!!! It's super central. The owner of the hotel recommended I take the train from the Airport to the City. I am glad I listened to the dude. The hotel is a 5-minute walk away from the train station. Once you check-in, you can walk to the must-see attractions like Malioboro, Keraton, Taman Sari, Sonobudoyo Museum, and the Hamzah Batik where they have drag and cabaret shows. There's a whole ton of food around, too. If you rent a motorbike, Prambanan will be only 40 min away. And it's a very pleasant drive, too. The location is awesome! Oh, if you are into books, Gramedia is like 3 km away. Check it out, it's a great bookstore. The rooms are clean, neat, and functional. Loved it. The staff are amazing, too. I don't know how they manage to serve coffee at 6 AM with a smile and a lovely attitude. Oh, and coffee is super cheap and good. I loved the slow mornings with the coffee and a book on the terrace.
