Hotel Alessandrino

LikedReally lovely person (called Jerry) to checked me in at 01:30am with a smile on their face. Room was clean and Rome is not that big so location is fine. Sad they’ve stopped their breakfast service but otherwise everything was great.

LikedThe location was excellent and with a lovely view. The staff were very friendly overall. very good value for cost. Rooms were basic, but clean (minor ant issue but by no means an infestation either).

DislikedThere was a minor issue with ants (annoying more than anything) as well as a rather odd event of another guest opening the door to our room at 3am. The staff was dismissive and suggested we had not properly locked door. This was extremely aggravating to say the least.

LikedLocation was fine for the major attractions. Nice quiet residential area. Don't expect too much - it is really just a room to sleep in

DislikedNo food or drinking facilities in the room. No hotel bar or gathering area. located at the top of a hill, so you had best be fit. Really was just room only

LikedThe room was so quaint and clean, the staff were friendly and very attentive. Taxis from this location to the center of Rome were very affordable and the walk to the Vatican very pleasant.

LikedThe location was very close to the St Peter's Basilica and near some great restaurants. The room was spacious and clean.
