Aldrovandi Residence City Suites

LikedVery relaxing in a great area near the city gate. Which was a 10 minute walk through the beautiful park. Staff were great.

LikedVery spacious and comfortable rooms. We were on the back of the property and it was lovely and quiet. Loved the art nouveau features and styling. The building itself is beautiful. The staff were really helpful, friendly and welcoming

LikedVery clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. Close to Villa Bourgese and approximately 20 minutes walk to city centre. Located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. We hope to return!

DislikedThe hotel may be unsuitable for people who don't want to walk far, although taxis are readily available.

LikedThe room was big and it was great having a kitchen. It was also close to the park (and playground), the zoo, and not too far away from touristic sites. Depending on how much you like walking, it's fairly easy to walk all the way to Circus Maximus. The metro station is also reasonably close (perhaps 15/20 min with a pram through the park). The zoo is close and has several playgrounds (big plus!). While most staff were nice, there was one lady who was not only nice, but warm and friendly (I don't know how else to describe it!) The room had blinds that make the room pitch black, which was great. It was also very clean!

DislikedThe room was facing the street and every time a tram passed (especially the older ones) the whole house is shaking. I'm not exaggerating! For some reason ambulances and other emergency vehicles use their horns in the middle of the night and don't the hotel is located right at the main road and the windows are not amazing at blocking out the noise, your little ones may wake up "in the middle of the night", either from sirens or trams passjng. Breakfast was good, yet not amazing.
