DislikedVery weakly soundproof One family with a small child was in a room next to mine. Ended up with two nights were I could barely sleep, as woke up during the nights with the child crying or/and had to wait for the child to sleep in the first place. Asked after the first night if it was possible to change my room, but the hotel was full. Unacceptable for this price. People travelling with family is common and this things are likely to happen. If the business strategy of the hotel is well for these occasions, the guests sleeping near those rooms could be annoyed but it's not a big problem. For them maybe it's not, for me it was a big problem. They should rather do the proper works for the sound or having the price that match the experience of the guests. If the basic minimum of taking a room to sleep at night cannot be satisfied, they should not call themselves a hotel. Also another guest sleeping to the same floor the second night went to the all to check for the noise

LikedThe hotel is close to the Careggi hospital, in less than 10 minutes you can reach it by walk, the neighborhood is very quite but with a lot of bars

DislikedThe room is very small and the walls thin (I could hear the guest in the room beside mine snoring and his phone)

LikedHandy for the tram into Florence and found a lively local restaurant nearby.

DislikedWe arrived late so would have appreciated some water in the room on arrival. Vending machine rather a coffee machine so we didn't use. Some kind of refreshment in the room would have been nice.
