DislikedNo option but a long staircase that you had to drag your luggage up. Not unusual for Europe but guests just need to be aware .

LikedWe couldn't have had a better stay in Lucca. The room and breakfast were fabulous and Marta and Victoria were so helpful. They went above and beyond when my husband needed to be seen by a doctor because they called a kind medical professional who was able to make a house call. We plan to return to Lucca and we will make sure we stay at this lovely property again.

LikedThe host, Marta, was thoughtful and very kind. She has a warm wonderful personality. Good location for walking the city. Old world charm of the hotel was excellent.
DislikedDifficult location if you have a car. The parking lot is two blocks away in a "hard to drive" non-traffic zone. A street en route to the parking was closed so it was complicated and we got lost.
