I heard a lot of negative things but I was quite happy. It’s cheap but you have to deal with getting to the hotel lobby. During the day the street entrance is busy w cars and shoppers. The area is haven for local clothes shopping. A few catered to tourist. Not much of souvenir store. Two 7-eleven nearby w one on the ground floor on the riverside. Bank across the street and exchange counter w reasonable exchange rate (no need to shop for best rate ans it’s not worth carrying the money annd passport too long) and no extra fee. Bring passport when Exchanging money. Lobby is on 11. If you room is in building A (pink color) you take the same elevator bank to your floor. Rooms in Building B,C,D are less than 200yards from building A or check in counter. My room was in Building B requires a bit of uncovered walkway to C and B buildings. D can be accessible via building A but steps are required. The pool and bar are on the same level as check in level 10. In building C on level 11 you can check in for the spa and access to the Gym and male/female locker rooms containing the spa area. The males side, towels are available. Bring your own water and flip flops. The Steam room needs a new paint job but was quite bright and large. The sauna is spacious and right lighting to unwind. In the wet area you have a hot pool and room temperature pool. Great view of the southern Bangkok skyline. One bedroom suite was very big. No cutlery or dishes provided. Just fridge and sink counter. Microwave would have made it better imho. They provided necessary items. The room can take a long time to cool down so place a towel in the small gap on the entry door. Taxi available but I used grab to get around. Metro Stop is about 25 mins south of the hotel in Chinatown. Otherwise for about $60-100 bhat grab ride to Chinatown. There are boat during the day on the river than take you closer to Chinatown fyi. Breakfast selection was fine but nothing to rave about. Other large hotels have nicer breakfast spread. I felt this was more quantity than quality. Overall., It’s dated, but the price makes up for that.

The 2 rooms are clean, larger than expected. However, the light is not too bright. Maybe it’s Thai style.

LikedFantastic hotel. Could not fault the staff, bottled water delivered to room daily. Two hotel pools with a bar that offers cheap beer during happy hour. Restaurant was brilliant, would highly recommend the set menus. Room was large and clean. Excellent views from pool.
DislikedOnly downside is that the hotel was not too busy.
