LikedNice rooftop pool area (we didn’t use the garden pool so can’t comment), very modern hotel and clean. Breakfast staff were friendly. Gym facilities were better than your average hotel gym with some good pieces of equipment. Outdoor area for breakfast when sunny which was great. Lots of restaurant options up the road from the hotel

DislikedVery large hotel, spread over 9 levels and 2 buildings. This made it feel quite impersonal. We were in the building across the road so had to take 2 lifts and a walkway to get between our room and the hotel facilities. We paid for the junior suite with balcony but it was just a slightly larger room. Bathroom was small and cramped. Balcony looked onto the busy main road so very loud when sitting out. The bed was made up of 2 mattresses which was uncomfortable when sharing a bed. Bedroom floor not cleaned during stay, by the 3rd night, feet were dirty walking around room. Breakfast was mediocre, mainly very bland foods except the pancakes which were fluffy and tasty but otherwise, overall disappointing breakfast. Tinned fruits served also which wasn’t what you’d expect. Advertised beach shuttle bus in summer and pools open in summer. We went mid May and pools were open but no shuttle bus to beach until June. The car park is only suitable for small cars. We had a Toyota Aygo and it was tight getting the car in and out. Spiral road down 5 flights (10 goes round) with no break or exits until you get down to the bottom. This really made using our rental car so daunting as there was minimal parking on the surrounding streets and getting the car in and out of the car park was such a hassle and a 2 man job! The walls were covered in scratches… Unfortunately, I felt the price didn’t reflect the experience of staying here. We stayed in 2 other hotels during our trip to Malta, paid less and had a much more personal, relaxing and positive experience at the others.

LikedThis is a great hotel. Spacious, comfortable room. We enjoyed the outdoor and indoor pools.

LikedVery nice hotel in Melleiha outside of crowded capital and close to the harbour for Gozo island tours and St.Pauls Bay where the National Aquarium is situated. Also very close to great view points and Popeye City amusement park. In the neighbourhood there are shops, bars, restaurants to enjoy your evenings.

DislikedThe only thing bothered us was the push and pull of heavy trolleys on the floor above our room. This happened every morning between 7-9am as our room was on the 1st floor with the major confrerence rooms on the 2nd floor ...
