Hotel Emona Aquaeductus

LikedI really liked the character of this little hotel. The staff were the friendliest I have experienced in a long time and made us feel very at home and nothing too much trouble. The continental breakfast buffet was great and good value.

DislikedIt’s slightly on the outskirts of the major attractions and not the best area to access from Termini but very close to a major Metro station so not a real negative.

LikedStaff is extremely friendly, location is perfect, breakfast was fresh unlike in other reviews I've read. the view from the room was directly to the Aquaeductus which was beautiful, also the garden at the enterance gives a unique vibe in the middle of the city.

DislikedDefinitely not a 4-star hotel. 3 at best, with tiny rooms, no extra services or facilities, breakfast was kind of basic but good enough. I came to rome on business and was counting on the hotel as a place to refresh and unwind between meeting and at night, Unfortunately the shower head was tiny and the water temperature was on the range of very hot or BOILING for 2 of my 3 nights of stay. Meaning I couldn't take a shower for a day and a half since they didn't have any other rooms available. Also the sink clogged up every day, The soap was in a large container that was put on top of what used to be a container connected to the wall, and the rain shower head wasn't clean, so I avoided it.

LikedNice clean room, good continental breakfast, very friendly & accommodating staff. Be sure to ask them for their recommendations as they will point you to good restaurants according to whatever it is that you fancy to eat. They will even make a reservation on your behalf :)
