Little Sicily

LikedThe location of the accommodation is verycentel, less than 5-min walk to the main square. Despite being a small apartment, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is sizable. Very clean and tidy. The owner was also very communicative about check-in and check-out arrangements.

DislikedThe accommodation is on the ground floor and doesn't have a window that brings in light, so the room is dark if you don't turn on the light.

LikedLocation, nice decor, good size bed, the little kitchen worked to my needs.

DislikedA little dark, somewhat noicy from people entering/exiting, spider webs/a little dusty, and mold growing out of a hole in the wall. Bathroom door defective.

LikedThe owner of the property contacted me with all the information and instructions on how to collect the keys from the key box. He also give us very good recommendations for what to do in the area. He was very helpful with anything we needed.

LikedThe room is very centrally located and clean.

DislikedInternet wasn't available for the duration of the stay which ruined the experience.

LikedPerfect for people who only needs a place to sleep/shower. Giuseppe (owner) was very nice in explaining all and giving advices about the city. The location is great! Walking distance from anything important in Catania (bus stop/ historical center/ castle). The fridge is small but enough to save snacks and water.

DislikedNot enough ventilation, no window in the restroom, so we have to open the door to refresh the room in the nights. No utensils for tea or coffee, no microwave or enough space to eat. BUT still a nice place with friendly neighbors.
