LikedLocation was brilliant - right on the cusp of leaning tower of Pisa and street restaurants and places to explore. Roof terrace was a great view (but you could get here without staying). Staff here were also nice - and excellent negronis.

DislikedHotel felt like it was coasting on its location. A bit basic inside, dirty, tired, in need of renovation. Manager on arrival didn’t care that we’d booked a room ‘with balcony’ - and this was actually in reference to the roof terrace - or to some of the rooms that had a window you could lean out of. So actual lies in description… I was kept awake from 5am as the blinds in the room didn’t close so windows were fully exposed to sunshine. Breakfast was basic - and weirdly budget with cutlery in paper bags and the vibe of The Shining. Coffee was redeeming factor.

LikedDisappointing on second morning that there were no fresh eggs available for breakfast. Food in restaurant was good but choice was poor as several dishes were unavailable & service on second evening was chaotic with us feeling ignored & having a long wait between courses

DislikedThe hotel would benefit from a little updating in one or two parts, but nothing more than simple cosmetics.
