LikedThis is a characterful place, and I'm really pleased I stayed there. There is a real sense of history, and there are a lot of interesting artifacts. My room, and the public areas are really spacious. I liked the sense of calm. The continental breakfast was plentiful. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance from the train station, and the places you want to visit.

DislikedYes, the hotel was a little shabby in places (shabby chic is fine, isn't it?). Some elements are missing, but I'd rather stay here than a bland hotel with a minibar, and a safe etc. I would certainly stay here again.

LikedThis is our second time staying in this hotel and it is a lovely old hotel. The staff were very helpful. Sheets and towels were fresh and clean. The beds were comfortable. Location is great and the view to the river is beautiful

DislikedSome maintenance appears to be required due to the age of the hotel. The tiles on the floor in our room were cracked and loose. Wifi in our room was a bit hit and miss.

LikedCentral location easy to walk to main attractions. Near good restaurants and bars. Staff friendly and helpful

DislikedBedroom was very small and old fashioned. Not enough facilities. Breakfast was basic

DislikedOur room, 330, had a extremely small bathroom which also was in bad shape. This should really be shined up to a better standard. Noisy air conditioning.
