LikedGood sized room and bathroom with an excellent shower.
DislikedRestaurant staff were disengaged and the food was mediocre. The location is a bit grim - in between a main road with underpass and a block of flats and facing a judo club. There are no gardens to sit in.

DislikedIt didn't have the feel of a 4 star hotel. It needs a refurb. Electrical switches and wires in the bathroom next to the sink!! Marks on the bedroom walls. The air conditioning wasn't very effective. Despite being turned to its lowest setting, the room didn't cool down significantly. The bar was not open all day which was disappointing as I wanted a beer while I waited for my room to be ready. They did offer me a complimentary soft drink, which was appreciated. Very noisy on an evening. I could hear every footstep from the hallway and surrounding rooms and there was a lot of banging - maybe the plumbing or elevator? It took me a long time to get to sleep.

LikedThe restaurant for breakfast and dinner had lots of choice and the food was excellent. The staff were really nice and helpful, it couldn't have been better. The reception area was really nice and the reception staff very helpful but the taxi's that they ordered for us, charged 18 euros to take us to the railway station and another one 20 euros to take us to the airport. The taxi's we got ourselves charged 8 euros back from the station to the hotel and 14 euros from the airport to the hotel. Maybe the hotel could have a list of taxi's that they know won't overcharge their residents. The bar area and outside areas in the bar and restaurant were also very nice.
DislikedThe bedroom was a bit small for 2 single beds for my daughter and myself although it did have everything that we needed apart from a kettle. It had a safe, a fridge, a hairdryer and an ensuite with bidet. It also had a small balcony. Our stay at the Hotel Bonanno was very nice.
