LikedFantastic location. Staff were incredibly friendly and passed on lots of local knowledge. Pool area was lovely and breakfast selection was great. Having bikes to hire was an added bonus, cycling the city walls was a highlight.

DislikedNo access to tea or coffee without having to order and pay at bar. We didn't realise that tea and coffee in rooms is not standard in Italy, so not a criticism of this hotel, just would have been nice to have had.

LikedThe staff were ALL exceptionally helpful and courteous from arrival to departure....nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and we were very pleased with the size of our room. The hotel wasn't within the walls of Lucca, however, it was a very pleasant/easy 10-15 minutes stroll into the heart of the city where everything was accessible.

DislikedI wouldn't change anything about it and would definitely return.

LikedOur room was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the pool and sitting out on the garden terrace for breakfast. We liked that we could hire bikes from the hotel to cycle around the city walls. A great place to stay and would highly recommend.
