LikedThe location was peaceful and quiet and beautiful, just off of the Grand Canal on a smaller canal, close to a variety of useful and tasty places to eat, and close to the Accademia Vapporeto stop and Accademia bridge, so all the popular sights were within easy reach. The breakfast was conveniently timed and absolutely delicious with a variety of options in a buffet style, from cereals, pastries, fruit, cold meats, to scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes, and great Cappuccinos. The staff were friendly and helpful and very professional and very easy to communicate with, even though we spoke no Italian!

DislikedIt was cold in Venice while we were there and our room had no heat. We were given extra blankets and a little space heater the next day. Our room door looked like it had been forced open and didn’t feel too secure.
