    beautiful place, but average service

the room, surroundings, view and beach are beautiful and worth the trip. the stuff is not very welcoming and it seems that the hotel is too big in order to give you a good experience. if you come knowing that the food is average, the staff is not very professional, then you will enjoy. after all the price is OK.

    Amazing Stay

The setting is excellent and the staff are very helpful. There is a good choice of restaurants on the resort and there is usually an offer on each night. The carts to take you up and down the hill are good. The room was amazing, with beautiful views out to sea, complete with bath on the balcony. Every inch of this hotel is carved from wood, and the attention to detail and little extras made it extra special. Shuttles run between the different rooms, restaurants and beach every few minutes, and the sprawling hilltop setting means it never felt busy. The check in progress is probably the worst I have experienced. Too many people not knowing what they are doing meaning you waste time at the start of your visit which is not what you want after traveling.

    Simply Amazing

I stayed at this resort with 3 other friends. We had wanted to find an island of Phuket for a weekend stay, for a unique experience in comparison to city life. Super Glad we discovered this beautiful place! Opted for the Santhiya Ocean View Pool Villa Suite at about 500 SGD per night, it was totally worth it! Standing at 2-stories, the only downside is that the staircase access to both levels is outside and poses a little inconvenience if you want to move between them, especially if it rains. Otherwise, the area is huge. Both levels have a bedroom, living room, bathroom and dressing area. Within the bathroom, there is outdoor shower and indoor shower on the top floor, and the toilet has its own cubicle. It rained heavily one night and we crazily bathed under the outdoor shower and in the rain. It was surreal as the cold raindrops peppered our skins and the hot shower kept us warm. Generous helping of toiletries, complimentary fruits and water, strong air con and good shower pressure. The pool and outdoor bath tub is on the top level, and there are 2 deck areas should you wish to sunbathe, at both sides of the pool. The pool is directly accessible from the bedroom, so another crazy thing we did was to wake up in the middle of the night, jumped into the icy cold pool for a quick dip, and went back to sleep again. Awesome view from the pool, and that was where we hung out all the things time in between meals. There was no need to find other things to do within or outside the resort, and we were having loads of fun in our suite. Well, we did cycle out of the premises to buy some snacks and beer. Another down side of the resort is that it's built on a mountain so you definitely need a buggy if you need to travel out of your room, and back. Waiting time for buggy is not short, mounting to some queue, though seemed tolerable for most guests. Love the barbecue at the resort's restaurant, and I thank the staff for arranging my birthday celebration!
