    World Class Quality!

I never thought I'd hear myself praise a chain hotel so highly, but the Marriott Aurora was absolutely superb during my stay there last week. The location is ideal for sightseeing, as it's only a minute's walk from the Bolshoi Theater and about 5 minutes away from Red Square. Also great for shopping as it's situated on one of the main upmarket shopping streets, just across the road from the Tsum department store and Petrovka Passage which houses lots of top name shops. Nearest metro station is a couple of minutes' walk away. The room was gorgeous, with every comfort and a relaxing, luxurious atmosphere. The dedicated butler service on offer is a nice extra as well, although I didn't call upon mine. I tried one of the two restaurants and the food was very good indeed with the usual international selection and a small selection of local specialties to try. The lounge bar is a good place to relax after a day's hectic sightseeing and also serves good food and drink. All the staff I encountered spoke good English, were polite and welcoming. Very tight security, which is reassuring. Can't recommend it highly enough.

    Beautiful Hotel

As soon as I walked into the hotel Olga made me feel very welcome and quickly checked me into my room. The hotel is very palatial with marble everywhere you look which gives the hotel a lavish ambiance. The company I work for was holding a conference in the hotel and the staff were very helpful with making sure all went as planned. I would of given the hotel 5 stars except for one thing, I ordered room service one evening and an hour later it still hadn’t arrived so I called again. When it did arrived the waiter/room service staff gave it to me with no charge which I appreciate however the food was cold. I understand people make mistakes so no big deal but that’s the only reason I didn’t give the hotel 5 stars because everything else was exceptional.

    Very Good In Business Trips!

Stayed here for 3 nights on business. The staff are extremely efficient and in particularly in the Executive lounge. A big thanks to Karina in the lounge who went out of her way to ensure we were happy. The rooms are the standard Marriott layout and not the most modern, however, what makes this hotel is the location and service. The executive lounge is amazing with a great selection of food and drinks available pretty much all of the day. This lounge can only be described as one of the best Marriott lounges in the world. The actual bar is okay, I did not think the service was as attentive as the executive lounge and the prices were extremely high. I also visited the gym which was great, a large selection of cardio equipment and weights. It was also fairly quiet. Overall my hotel of preference in Moscow by far.
