We stayed at the MonasteraSanta Rosa and it is one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The building has been restored to a very high standard and the rooms, although small, had lovely bed linen and modern en-suite rooms. On arrival we were upgraded to a room with a large balcony which had spectacular views over the hotel gardens, pool and the Amalfi coastline. The room was called Viola and on the ground floor but was not noisy at all. The food in the restaurant was the best we had on our holiday and the staff were really friendly and relaxed. We enjoyed that it wasn’t stuffy even though it was a very luxurious hotel and Michelin Star restaurant. Also cocktails in the bar were fantastic, try the layered Espresso Martini! The spa treatments and facilities were amazing and was a lovely way to spend a few hours. Without a doubt the best feature of the hotel is the infinity pool which has the most stunning uninterrupted views, comfortable loungers and attentive staff.
