    Good Location

The location of this hotel is quite convenient. Just a 10min walk from MRT & restaurants, bars, convenient shops, laundry is just surrounding it on all sides. The look of this hotel is what made me choose it. It has the rustic old charm to it. The decor is warm and welcoming. The receptionist, Mr Anwar was very polite & nice enough to give me a welcome drink while I wait to check in. He even showed me to my room on the 2nd (top level) floor. They provide some books and board games for those who wish to relax & just chill. Room was clean with clean sheets, comfy pillows, clean towels. My complaint about the room would be that the shower stall was too small and made it difficult to turn around. The TV channel was not clear and they only provide local channels. Mini bar available, but even the drinking water is chargeable. They could at least provide a bottle or 2 complimentary drinking water. This was a bit disappointing. Sound proof room is quite poor. Luckily I'm not a very light sleeper. Breakfast was simple with bread, butter, egg, noodles/fried rice, juice, fruit. No complaints from me. As long I have egg and toast and coffee, I'm fine. Overall, this is more about an upgraded backpacker's place rather than a 3star hotel.
