    Good Place

We love this resort. There are also places nearby that can fill any gaps. Public transport is close by and cheap to use. Staff was super friendly. The hotel pool has plenty of cushioned chairs & beach towels. Beautiful waterfalls & gardens. The ocean view from our room was awesome and we loved the spaciousness of the room. We always feel comfortable and at home when we are here. Parking was convenient. Food at grill station was good. Will be coming back of course. Early check-in was available.

    Old but Great

Ka'anapali Beach Club was our first resort and our first trip to Hawaii. The resort was pink and it was pretty old and worn down. The roof's were leaking in parts of the resort. The rooms were dated but comfortable. Diamond should upgrade this property in the future. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. This time, the access to a safe beach was a further distance, as erosion is taking it's toll. The access to a good super market across the street, and the newly added food trucks near the market are great. This trip we did not rent a car, and took the bus around the island when needed, and this worked out fine for us. I do recommend this property.

    Good Location

The hotel is also a good base for traveling/sightseeing. We were close to many nice restaurants and really enjoyed Fleet woods for dinner one evening with adults only, but the kids enjoyed breakfast at Slappy’s pancakes where they give you the batter and you make your own pancakes on your table grill. It’s walking distance to Slappy’s. We also enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau about 10 minutes from hotel. I’m not one to easily give 5 stars, but this vacation was awesome. Other than the hotel entrance being under construction, everything else, including the weather was wonderful.
