We stayed for 4 nights in March and really enjoyed the experience. Set on a hillside the hotel offers extensive views over the sea, but the verdant gardens also provide secluded corners to investigate, especially if you are keen on the plants and birds. Almost on arrival a member of the outdoor staff pointed out the roosts of Northern Potoo and Jamaican Owl. Other specialties include the endemic Black-tailed Streamertail and many North American warblers. The staff is wonderful and attentive, whilst the food is excellent, some of the best vegetarian choices we have ever experienced and a new menu for dinner each evening. Our room was very spacious and well-equipped. We took trips to Port Antonio (on a rainy morning), the Rio Grande for a rafting experience, and into the local hills for more birding. A lovely, picturesque corner of the island, apart from the quality of the roads, and scarcely any hassle. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving guest the great service that you provide.
