This hotel is not part of a chain so provides a more personal service. Although not located on a main road, it is only 5 minutes or so from Piata Romana, a noisy and busy square with a metro station. The rooms are big with a large double bed, air conditioning that actually works, excellent shower, apples & water in the room, good TV including CNN. Breakfast offered a wide choice of hot and cold dishes. I recommend booking the hotel's own transport from the airport, which was reliable and comfortable. There are a restaurant serving evening meals where apparently you decide how much to pay depends on how much you enjoyed the meal! We didn't dine in the hotel, but we did order drinks from the bar & service was inexplicably slow. However, we didn't have any real complaints & would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Bucharest.
