The best thing about staying at Camping Jungfrau in the beautiful valley of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland is that it has all kinds of accommodations available; whether you want to pitch a tent or bring in your motor-home to staying in a hostel or renting one of the chalets they have which are perfect for a family. We stayed in a small fixed motor home style two bedroom with a kitchenette. The children loved the bunk-beds and the small patio outside was perfect for a lat night drink with the wife (once the kids were off to sleep). Camping Jungfrau is spread over a vast area and has everything from a local store to get your necessities and food to a good-sized children's play area and also hold activities for various age groups throughout the day. They have an in-house restaurant that serves some delicious local food like Rosti. Staying at Camping Jungfrau is like being part of nature, the sound of waterfalls reverberate all through the day, and the fresh air is just what the doctor asked. The Camp is set on one side of Lauterbrunnen which is a 15 off minute walk from the train station. So, you have to enjoy walking to really go back and forth from the hotel. They do have a pickup and drop service when you first arrive and leave in the end (with luggage). However, finding a taxi is impossible and the bus service doesn't take you all the way to the hotel.
