Great location; fairly close to the Canggu center and walking distance to the beach. Note that it is a scenic beach and not specifically for sunbathing. Spacious room with comfortable beds. The roof has 0 sound isolation, at least not in the deluxe rooms. We arrived on a Friday and the hotel behind Lautan Kupu was playing music at the pool, which you could very clearly hear inside the room. At night there was live music in a restaurant straight across the road, which was also clearly heard. It was like sleeping outside or without a roof. Amazing pool with beautiful plants. The social space is a nice and huge aula, Rooms are comfortable and proper size. Brekfast is good. Staff members are friendly and helpful. In a short walk you get to the beach having giant waves. Good for wave surfing. We had a landtrip with the manager, he told detailed information about history, cultur and religion during our trip. Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff, very modern room, nice pool, big kitchen with all facilities which guests could use.
Beyond the control of the management, but couple upstairs coming in at midnight and walking stomping around until 1.30am.
