Date of Stay: May, 2009

the room was large, but the bed was very small and uncomfortable. The shower was terrible, shifting from hot to cold on its own without even touching the handle. A rain storm hit while we were there, and the water pooled on the roof right above our room then slidding off the roof right in front of our room creating a loud, waterfall sound that woke us up on the middle of the night. Overall for the cheap price, i still dont feel like it was worth the two nights of restless sleep. We tried to get a room closer to the ground, and the lady didnt even take a moment to see if it could be an option she just said no, and handed me the keys.

Staff very friendly and rooms were very nice. There was no pool or blow dryer in the room. I thought it was a nice hotel but was very irritated about the online false advertisement in reference to the pool and microwave. We reserved this room because it advertised a pool. Had we known there was no pool, we wouldn't have stayed there.

Econo lodge is right next to the highway, so it's a bit noisy. You can turn on the a/c fan to help with that. I suggest asking for the side not facing the highway if you are a light sleeper. We aren't light sleepers, so we got a great night's sleep. The room staff and the front desk people were great. They didn't look like druggies that are looking to steal something. I would definitely stay there again.

Mold in the bathroom, room smelled, vending machine inoperable and took our money, hot water ran out during shower, no exhaust fan in bathroom, walls and ceiling poorly insulated for noise.

Excellent location for travel, shopping and dining. This hotel is top notch for the price range. Don't stay here looking for food at hotel but there are tons of restaurants, shopping and route of travel is excellent. Didn't use wireless internet but overall for the price this is a great deal!

When I arrived the check in process went well. The girl that worked the desk that night was very helpful. I was a little disappointed in not having hot water the whole weekend we were there. Plus I asked for a wake up call and never got it. When I checked out I informed them that I had asked for a wake up call and never got it and all the gentleman said was "oh, I'm sorry". It was not acceptable and I was really disappointed.

Front desk guy really nice, helpful, funny. This kid is a hoot! Overall cleanliness was great. A little noise from highway, but not too bad. Great for the price and location (fairgrounds, I-44, zoo)

FOR THE MONEY, THIS WAS VERY GOOD. iT WAS CLEAN, WELL KEPT, CONVENEINT. THE ASSOCIARES AT THE DESK WERE VERY NICE. THERE WAS A MODEST CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. THE COST WAS ONLY HALF OF MOST PLACES. IT WAS EASY TO GET TO, AND QUIET. WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN IF IN THE AREA.

The traffic noise was fine. The room was clean. But the beds were hard & pillows flat. We heard the people above us walk around ALL night! The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was no place to sit to enjoy your breakfast. You had to take it back to the room with you. So we ate at a sit-down restaraunt. The location of this hotel seems to be on the complete opposite side of anything we wanted to do (Bass Pro, Discovery Ctr, Incredible Pizza, etc.) But it is across the street from a Walmart & right off I44. I would recommend this hotel to singles, but not family.

Not a great hoel. It's fine if all you will do is just get a few hours of sleep. Quick access to I-44 and across from Wal-Mart.

The staff was unfriendly. I was not given the room I booked. The room was dirty, and mold was growing in the shower.

The room was clean. The bed was really small. The room I was in was really clean, but the bed was really small. The TV I had in my room wasn't very good. I think the picture tube was going out. The hotel over all was in a really convenient place there was a Wal-Mart and other things. I would stay again.

Bath tub had so much scum on it-it would require a hammer and chisel to clean. Dirty Q-tips on floor, etrified nail clippings on the floor by the night stand

This hotel is right next the major highway running through this city. Very noisy, hard to sleep. This is an older, shabby hotel located right next to a busy interstate. Very noisy and light throughout the night, hard to sleep. The room was clean and there were lots of television channels and a fridge. I would rather have had a good night's sleep.
