We love the Zermatt. We've stayed at the Zermatt twice and have found the staff to be extremely nice, personable, and helpful. Our rooms have always been fabulous with great views. The pool is heated (indoor/outdoor) and has two hot tubs (one outside and one inside with a fabulous waterfall that's like a massage). Matty's has great burgers and pizza. We've really enjoyed our stays at the Zermatt and each visit gets better and better. The Zermatt is really convenient to the Deer Valley Gondola and the staff will even take you to the Gondola. Kevin and Lee (the Bell Staff) answered countless questions and were always very helpful. Lee even took us to the pool to show us how to turn the waterfall on and Kevin told us where we could take a cool snowmobile excursion.

We brought our children to Midway for a break away from the city. The views were beautiful. Close to Park City shopping, which was nice. The beds were VERY uncomfortable. We stayed in the Villa Queen. Reading other reviews, sounds like we should have stayed in a suite. Our room was not "resort" quality like we expected, rather a more expensive version of a Best Western. We did enjoy the pool. I wouldn't stay at the Zermatt again, even if it was free.

The Zermatt is a must if you are travelling to the Park City - Midway area. It is an easy fifteen minute drive to the slopes in Park City. It is peaceful, clean, well decorated and the staff is exceptional. The view from all rooms is awesome and the facilities are great. The pool, both indoor and outdoor, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms and exercise rooms are top of the line as is the spa. The staff was always available and willing to do anything to make our stay enjoyable. To sum it up, the Zermatt is Awesome. It is also a great value and the staff made our vacation the very best we've ever had. We will be back next year.

One of the best trips I've taken. We had a blast! Lots to do in any direction you want to go. My son had a great time! We would come back in a minute! Accomadations were great, housekeeping and desk staff were great! Go down to Sundance, Strawberry Reservoir and into Park City. Sundance is great if you aren't an experienced skier or snowboarder and not near as expensive as some of the other places and the views are phenomenal. Highly recommend Zermatt. Be aware that there is a 20/day resort fee that we were not expecting.

This resort is lovely, but it is far removed from anything approximating civilization. The bell staff and shuttle drivers are extremely polite and accommodating, but the drive into Park City (at rush hour to catch the early lifts) is a distraction. Choices other than the resort restaurants are non-existent unless you are able to drive into Park City, about 30 minutes away, on a two lane county route where you will compete with deer and wild turkeys for the road. The hotel was under booked the week we were there, and the dining room of the main restaurant, Schneitter's, was empty. Even so, wait service was so bad that the chef had to come out and apologize. This is unfortunate, as the kitchen was amazing and the food first rate. Similar point of sale problems occurred at the coffee shop / bakery, where it took up to 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee. Matty's Bistro was the exception, with both good service and food. Also, the exercise and spa facility were very nice.Perhaps these problems don't occur when the resort is full, but we will most likely stay in Park City for our next trip.

The Zermatt villa we stayed at was fabulous! Granite counter tops, fully equipped kitchenette, jetted tub, 3 flat-screen TV's. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courtesous. We loved the pool and hottub. The spa was fabulous! We highly recommend this resort to anyone from couples to famillies with small children.

Tha staff could not have been nicer or more helpful with ANYTHING that we asked of them. We wanted a larger room upon check-in and they had told us that it would be an extra charge, to which we told them no problem. When we went to check out the night before leaving the COMMPED our last nights stay!!! If your looking for a quiet place to just get away for a nice time....I would recommend staying here. We will surey be going back again!!!

We travel to UT multiple times each year to ski and are familiar with the variety of lodging options from hotels to condos. However, we were so pleased with the Zermatt that we plan to stay there from now on. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a cheerful and helpful bellman, who told us all about the hotel and its amenities. The desk clerk greeted us with a cheery "Guten tag" and checked us in quickly. While we went to the Adventure Haus to get our discounted lift tickets for Deer Valley, the bellman took our bags to our room. When we returned, he personally escorted us to our room and gave us the grand tour. The room was spacious and lovely. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of comfortable pillows. The first night, we had the pleasure of dining at Matty's Bistro and had the best barbecue chicken pizza we've ever had. The last night of our stay, we enjoyed the seafood buffet and the accompanying dessert buffet at Schneitter's. While it was a little on the expensive side, it was well worth it. I was particularly impressed that the buffet included mac & cheese, chicken fingers, & fries for the kids. The Zermatt is a bit off the beaten path (be sure to get a yahoo or mapquest map). However, it's only 10 minutes (tops) from the Deer Valley gondola (the less crowded way to access DV) but no more than 15 - 20 minutes from Park City and the main entrance to Deer Valley. Frankly, we enjoyed being away from the crowds with the added pleasure of seeing a variety of wild life (deer, wild turkey, magpies, etc.) every time we drove to or from the hotel.

Nice hotel, excellent service. Fairly new hotel. Staff was really helpful and the property had all except the slopes to ski in. Although it's a 20 minute drive to the slopes, roads are really good so it's not that bad. Our only complaint would be that room service staff would call literaly 15mins after delivering our meal asking for the trays.

"This resort took me to Sweden... it was very quaint and their customer service there is better than a 5 star hotel. From the waiters, valets, cleaning crew to the front desk... you could not have asked for better! Will be back during the fall to do some horseback riding, hiking and camping. Also get a massage at their spa... to die for!"

If you are going to Utah to ski -stay at the ski resort or in Park City! This place is too far from the big 3 areas The Transporation staff was very helpful but it is still too far from the skiing and civilization! The Alpine 2 queen bed rooms are SMALL!!! and a long walk from the main lodge! If you book through online travel- double check your bill at check out - they tried to bill me twice. The food at this place is limited!! Not much for choices and you are in no mans land - but the town is not far - Mountain House Grill is good. I would never go back for a ski trip.

The staff were so helpfull and always there to meet our needs. We did have a problem with the concierge, but she should not ruin the rating for the other staff. The front desk and bellmen were there to take us where ever we wanted to go and to give wonderful suggestions of events in the area. The hotel offered a X-box/movie night and our 10 year old son was so excited. My husband and I were able to have dinner by ourselves while he enjoyed his game time. Our room was comfortable and at our request was cleaned daily. The hot tub outside was great. My son loved the indoor/outdoor heated pool and the idea of swimming with snow falling was new to him. We were able to get all of our ski equipment and ski lift tickets at a discount and was transported by a to the ski resorts daily. The bakery is wonderful. I brought pastries home for Christmas. The food at the large resturant was expensive, so we mainly ate at the one inside the lodge. The only issue was the concierge. She was not helpful with booking our events or being available to us. We will go back next year and stay at the Zermatt.

"We visited for our 5th anniversary. Our room was flithy and only after check in did we find out that the restaurant was closed (""slow"" season we were told!) Luckily The Homestead across the street provided a romantic dinner out on short notice. Gym and pool were wonderful, except the sauna wasn't working. The resort just seemed mediocre to us. Maybe we'll return after they've been up and running for awhile and have some kinks worked out."

We stayed here for a little family getaway and what a place! Gorgeous with EVERYTHING you could ask for from a resort... YES they do have THREE restaurants... one casual, one more fine dining (although we went there for breakfast in jeans and were let in - also must say their banana french toast was TO DIE!!!) and a deli type with yummy, yummy ice cream. The staff was a pleasure to deal with and the rooms were gorgeous - the beds were very comfortable and the jetted tub was a bonus!! They have a shuttle to park city to ski, it's 15 minutes away but come on - anywhere you stay you're going to have a little drive!!! I would give the place 10 stars if I could.

"If you are traveling to UTAH, think twice before staying in Park City. The Zermatt Resort & Spa, is located 15 minutes from Park City, and worth the short drive. European Spa, Bakery & Guest Rooms were fabulous! Friday Night Seafood Buffet was delicious!!! I will definitely be back!"

"We stayed for 3 days, the whole resort is well planned and the attention to detail is unmatched. The food we had in the 2 restaurants was in our top 3 experiences for hotel food - and we have stayed all over the world. The service staff did not match the level of the food but was adequate enough to not make it a bad experience. The area around the property is breathtaking and we will definately return. Hope the putting course is open the next time around."

"My wife and I stayed at Zermatt Resort for our anniversary over Labor Day Weekend. Our expectations were exceeded from arrival to check-out. The amazing architecture, combined with the friendly staff, great food, and incredible spa treatments set the bar much higher on our expectations for weekend getaways and anniversaries."
