Would like to rate hotel but as we were moved to adjoining Tre Vecchi and told this in an extremely rude manner we are unable to do so However if it is anything like the Tre Vecchi then the staff need training in good customer service. Would be unable to recommend either hotel on our stay and treatment. This was the only blemish on an otherwise good run on hotels and B&Bs in Italy

Was moved to adjacent hotel. Tre VecchiWas moved from a 3 star to the adjacent 4 star Tre Vecchi, which we didn't like much as the room was too small. The shower was also so small it was almost unfunctional. The staff were friendly but would not recommed the hotel to others

Room (365) was badly in need of decorating as was the hotel itself. It seemed like it was last decorated in the eighties. Carpet very dirty, wallpaper falling off the wall. there were no english speaking channels on the TV. Bathroom was small but in good condition. Breakfast was about average for a 3 star hotel in Italy. Location was excellent as it was half way between the main Station and Piazza Maggiore. We would not stay there again.

As others have said this is in a fantastically convenient situation just 10 mins walk from the station and 10 mins from the two lening towers. Although the rooms are not large, which has always been the case in Italy at our price range, they are very clean and good quality mirrors help. The bed was comfortable, the linen was crisp and the pillows plump. What is more the air con was efficient (in August it needs to be) and quiet! Very helpful staff who were glad to sort out our trip to the airport at Forli for an early Ryanair flight home. For info a fast train leaves Bologna Centrale at 0825 to arrive at Forli at 0905, then it is a short taxi ride to the airport ( 15 mins, 11 Euro). These small airports are much more civilised than LHR or LGW. We didn't ask for recommended restaurants but it seems to be impossible to eat poorly in this town. The places we used were full of Italians which is a good sign.

The hotel is in a great location it's in the middle of everything and surrounded by good places to eat and shop. It an easy walk from the train and bus stations.

The first impression was very negative due to a very rude and unhelpful evening recptionist employee. This was completely unexpected and disappointing as we had a few travel hassles on the way to the hotel. However, that was an aberration. The morning reception staff were really helpful and welcoming. The hotel it is very clean and the location is really good : close to the station, on the route of the bus for the trip to the airport, and close to the major piazza and to numerous good eating spots. Highly recommended.

The hotel is nicely located between the main highlights of the city centre and the railway station. Since the hotel is not located directly at the road, but some 25 metres away from it, the noise from the street is not disturbing. The bathroom was clean and the bedroom tidy. Staff wass very friendly and breakfast excellent, especially for an Italian hotel which often have very sober breakfasts. The bed was relatively soft for a hotel bed, but not uncomfortable. The shower and some other facilities, like tv showed signs of long usage: in my case the shower was leaking water over the bathroom floor and the cable of the hairdryer was not properly connected anymore. It is not the most well-maintained and modern hotel that you can get, but considering the location, the price-quality is o.k.

L'impatto è stato molto negativo, perchè la stanza assegnatami alle 14 circa era ancora da rifare e non ho avuto una buona impressione del precedente ospite!!! E' mai possibile che non lo sapessero? Poi mi hanno dato un'altra stanza questa volta rifatta e pulita. La visuale lasciava a desiderare (muro con aspiratore): per una sola notte e per un soggiorno di lavoro può andare bene. La colazione è abbondante e presenta molte varietà di dolcetti (di qualità scarsa), buona la qualità e la varietà di frutta fresca. Ho scelto questo hotel soprattutto perchè un mio conoscente per un lungo soggiorno molti anni fa ed aveva avuto una stanza ampia e luminosa. La consiglierei ad un amico per un breve soggiorno di lavoro perchè ha un alto rapporto qualità/prezzo, l'hotel è situato in una posizione molto centrale anche raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione.
