Ideal situation and helpful staffThe hotel was ideally situated for exploring Bologna on foot, and some memebers of the family reported that they had the best ice creams in the whole trip from the nearby gelataria.There were 3 generations of us, and we were all pleased with the space and comfort of our rooms, although ours was a little dark.My son left his back pack in a nearby restaurant they had recommended (and it was very good as well as reasonably priced) and the receptionists couldn't have been more helpful, ringing several times, and giving us a late checkout so that my son could collect his belongings when the owner came to work.The breakfast was OK, and the staff were prompt in refilling items when they were told they were running short.We felt very safe in the neighbourhood, and it was quiet at night (at least on a Friday, which was the night we stayed).

Loved it!Great huge room, huge toilets/bathroom, clean, friendly staff, fab food for breakfast, great location.

The staff were very friendly. They didn't speak very good English but tried hard. They had to move us to a new room on the second room to accomodate a disabled guest but were very apologetic about it.
