PLEASE BE ADVISED - The Tioga Pass Road, Highway 120, into Yosemite National Park is closed for the winter every year, usually November through April, depending on snowfall. If you are planning to visit Yosemite during your visit and you are not sure if the road will be open, please check road conditions before making your room reservation. Lee Vining is usually accessible on Highway 395 year round.

our experience was that bad that we decide to leave the motel after one day, even we had already payed for two days. we had made reservations for 10 different hotels during these three weeks and till now all off them were very good hotels, except this one.

This hotel, overlooking Lee Vining Creek and the western part of Mono Lake, is clean and has attentive, courteous staff, but the rooms are on the small side, and have very soft matresses and few pillows. No continential breakfast provided, but there is a restaurant directly across the street. The location is excellent for visiting Mono Lake, eastern Yosemite, and Bodie and the town has provisions available for hikers/campers.
