We had a great stay at the York Hotel in a one bedroom appt. It was close to both Darling Harbour and Circular Quay, which was the area that we particularly wanted to be on this trip. Whilst we were on a low floor, the traffic noise did not bother us, but there was no view. The pool and spa was in a lovely setting, and even in the cool weather, it was worth a dip. Would definately stay here again, and recommend it to others.

This hotel is well located - you can walk to the Rocks, the Opera House and the shopping precinct and Darling Harbour. The apartment was old but big. Lots of space. the furnishings are a bit out of date, but if you want value for money this is the place. The gym is not good at all, and the pool is shadowed by office blocks.

Although the hotel looks a bit old and tired, the room was very spacious and the location very central. I think the pricing was fair.

The 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment was spacious even luxurious. Good for a family to stay in, staff were courteous and helpful. Our rooms in the hotel overlooked the Harbour Bridge entry so had traffic noise all day and night, picturesque night views however from 16th floor balcony. On Friday night the church bells ring for over an hour! The bathroom next to the main bedroom was extremely small and the shower door opened out compromising the space. The BEDS were some of the worst - most uncomfortable I have encountered. The mattress was dipped in the middle and on a hard wooden base making sleep extremely difficult. Not suited for people who want to relax in their hotel, more for families who are out and about.

Three of us stayed at this hotel, although the fold up bed was uncomfortable all other aspects of this hotel were wonderful. Excellent location, friendly staff and Huge rooms with great facilities

Loved it - the standard rooms were massive. Bathrooms were big. Balconies were fantastic. The location was ideal for where we wanted to go. Definitely would stay here again!
