The motel is nestled in the lap of Western Australia's first inland settlement and the rolling hills of the Avon Valley, less than an hours drive east of Perth. From here you can explore our heritage township with all the history that York has to offer and enjoy its scenic beauty, friendly people and superb gardens.
The York Motel is now also able to offer travellers a luxury, self-contained, disability friendly, family apartment as well as the lovely, themed single and double rooms.

-A family visit to Avon Park with its Suspension Bridge, Playground and BBQ is always popular. Our historic Balladong Farm also offers hands on activities for the family on its 150 year old property. The Avondale Discovery Farm also offers these opportunities.
-How about a ride around our beautiful township in a horse drawn carriage, what better way to see the unique heritage buildings.
-Then we have tennis, swimming and horse riding OR for those with extreme appetites we have the local 'Skydive Express' which offers the states most experienced and best equipped skydiving centre, 'Windward Balloon Adventures' can take you to great heights and give you a unique view of the Avon and the 'Northam Aero Club' is home to the states premier Flight Training Centre without all the traffic of Jandakot.
