This property has gone downhill bigtime. We have stayed here many times over the last 10 years but never again! Rooms - Filthy Facilities: Nothing open, nothing worked Service: NONE Location: Great Pricing: Now way over priced Breakfast: Glugy white rice and old corn on the cob - yes that's what they call a hot breakfast

The breakfast buffet wasn't that flash - they are renovating the main restaurant so a different area was used. Not a huge selection - I guess being a York resort I expected a pretty large choice where we could indulge, but there was powdered milk and cereal with a few hot dishes and some fruit (and congee). other than that - great location, friendly staff, all good.

Location is in a very quiet part of Leura. Our Standard Room was spacious and was on the ground floor facing the garden. Parking is right outside your room, motel-style. Rooms need an update, especially the bathrooms, but were clean and tidy. Pool was a nice bonus in summer, but the spa pool was dirty and half full, and the table tennis/billiards rooms were not in good shape.

A good location however several facilities including the pool were not available and it looked like it had not been used for some time. Buffet breakfast was very poor. Poorly presented and a poor selection of food. An example was the toast area had a large margarine container with knife sticking out of it. The container had lots of foreign matter left in it from previous users. Hot juice still in 2 litre containers with tops on.

We enjoyed our stay but wished there had been a restaraunt for dinner or lunch. The restaraunt that was open for breakfast was lovely and thought it could be easily open at night for a buffet style meal.

Very nice resort and very clean. Only gripe was the restaurant was closed,so had to eat at The Fairmont Resort,as a bit away from the restaurants on the strip,was word of the restaurant opening again,had eat here before and the food was very nice.

This place pretents to be a resort, but the facilities are limited. There are squash courts, a billiard room, a swimming pool and not much else. The restaurant has not been in service for a long time. You have to go to their sister resort (the Fairmont) for dinner. Unfortunately, this restaurant was also closed for the school holidays. The breakfast is a buffet, with a good variety of food, but it is not refreshed. The eggs and other items are often sitting for a long time without replacements. Also, the shower in my room had little pressure. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The shower head was faulty, but they fixed it in the 2 days we stayed there. We loved the location and the breakfasts were fantastic!

Our stay included breakfast which is the worst we have had at any stay anywhere in the world - thus our rating of very bad service. To simply have standard cereal and toast with tea or coffee was not possible and a person attending served some food that could only be called fatty goo. This hotel needs an awful lot of improvement, particularly if it is to cater for international tourists to Australia.

Staff were very helpful. Should note that it is B&B and that you need to go off-site for dinner, but there is a good choice in Leura and Katoomba or wider if travelling in the Blue Mountains
