I went to Dubai on business, I stayed 1 night in this hotel, and it was more then enough. Starting just outside the hotel, in the lobby, bars and night club it is packed with prostitutes, they even call you when you are in your room. The rooms are small but clean. The noise is a big problem till early in the morning in this hotel, even being on 7th floor I could always hear the bass from the night club music, (not easy to sleep). The breakfast is the worst I ever had in any hotel. Never Again

Well, if you are a night owl and you don't care about staying up late while you stay here, this is the hotel for you. This hotel owns a club on the ground floor, which does not close until 3 AM in the morning. This means that, yes, you are going to hear every beat and pounding in your room until 3 AM. Yes, EVERY BEAT so loud that you could even have a party in your own room without going down to the club! Complaining to the reception? Yes, I did that. And guess what. They refused to change my room on the 4th floor for my first night but promised to change another on the 6th floor next day, which proved in vain because, I believe, all the rooms in this hotel cannot avoid the party music downstairs! The facility is basically acceptable and the room is clean. The location is also good. But, as a hotel, shouldn't quietness be the first priority.

The reception staff were polite and helpful and spoke good English and the tour organiser in the reception area did his best for us in a city plagued by stifling heat, massive traffic jams and a disorganised infrastucture. The bar just inside the entrance door had drinks at 5 times the Ausralian price, as in all of Dubai. and allowed smoking. I went in there for a drink and was soon approached by a friendly prostitute who soon disappeared when I told her I was waiting for my wife. We paid $A314 for 2 nights. If we ever returned to Dubai, it would be worth paying more elsewhere.i
