How could a find hotel like the Fairmont go down so quickly. We did not get our rooms cleaned for the 3 nights we stayed, no coffee, milk or tea in the rooms. We did not attempt to eat in the dining room thank goodness. When it came time to check out, the staff were clearly in over their heads and had a very difficult time as so many people were complaining. I have taken up a dispute with my credit card company as we booked into a top end hotel and got a lousy dirty room.

Sheets had not been changed since the previous guest - rooms were dirty, bathroom not clean. No coffee available until after 5pm in the hotel anywhere. Location is good but this is more like a Budget motel than a $300 per night hotel

How disappointing! We have stayed at the Fairmont for years and it has always been fabulous. The experience this time was so much less than previous trips. Practically no staff on hand and those that were seemed disinterested and unknowledgable. We won't be going back.

The resort is very nice and clean.although the design is a bit old. we enojyed and can receommedn it.

Old and outdated, no staff, no facilities. In desperate need of new owners and management to bring it back to its former glory. Don't waste your money.

Service was terrible. The Fairmont seems to have had a turn-over of staff and the service was nothing like what we expected. I would think twice befre paying full price to stay.

The complementary hot buffet breakfast was among the worst offered. But the bar restaurant did serve very nice club sandwiches and wedges.

Always enjoy our stay at the Fairmont.the location is like no other in the blue mountains, with the misty mornings and the bushland.We enjoyed the golf and the swimming pool and spa, and the buffet breakfast although it was a busy weekend the staff seemed to cope.
