It was a great weekend get away for the myself and my wife. We explored the towns of Lenox and Stockbridge a short drive away. The Inn was nicely located just outside of Lenox center. It was convenient and easy to get to.

Clean, friendly, cheap and functionnal. Few staff. I higly recommend this hotel for short or business stays.

Pool was average there were too many kids in hot tub to enjoy No attempt to remove them by management despite sign. Breakfest was very good. Suite with fireplace and jacuzzi was exceptional however need to go outside to pool not good in winter. Probably would not stay there in any other suite but fireplace and jacuzzi suite.

...why spend more? Comfortasble quiet room, a real deal in off season

Good continental breakfast. Not applicable everything was fine. Centrally located to all the attractions and easy to find, very quiet room, great Jacauzzi tub and comfortable bed and pillows, good large continental breakfast.

We payed over */night to stay at what I thought would be an excellent facility. The rooms were comparable to those at a cheaper motel. Cushion on the chair at the desk in our room was very stained; wood chipped everywhere. Staff was not very pleasant. We booked this hotel for the indoor pool and work-out facility. The latter was a joke and the pool environment was pretty 2nd rate. When we left, our family decided not to return. We would be better off staying at a Comfort Inn -- costs less w/better rooms. Only downside would be not having an indoor pool.

The room was a little small but met all our needs. The rates were great and we did not expect high end luxury. It had everything we needed. The surroundings and location were very nice and well situated for sight seeing and dining. Lots of choice close by. Friendly staff and nice breakfast provided every morning. No complaints - we would certainly go there again.

Great location, clean, good variety for breakfast buffet. We were very satisfied with this choice.

this hotel appears to be really beautiful on the website. Don't be fooled - it sits right along the main road & is noisy & far from being quaint. Our true problem with this hotel was that they overbooked & didn't have our room available or even as an option to stay in. They tried to get us to stay in smaller rooms with only 1 bed & then after about 20 minutes of arguing, they all of the sudden could grant our original reservation. There was no manager on duty & the front staff girl was far from helpful. We finally left & stayed somewhere else, after being told our credit card we still be charged & considered a "late cancellation". This was their mistake, they were unable to gaurantee our reservation, and then we were expected to pay for it. It was only after an email and phone calls to the lodging director that our card was refunded. Their service is less than acceptable. trust me.

Breakfast was good. Room was dirty, open beer cans and used soap were left. Smell of smoke in a non-smoking room.

The indoor pool at the Yankee Inn was great. The room was warm, with magnificant plants all around and large windows. Plenty of towels and lounge chairs.

It was pretty nice, clean, helpful staff. The remote didn't work half of the time for the TV, even after we got new batteries from the hotel. This place has a lot to offer for the price don't charge an arm and a leg like most other hotels, very nice and clean rooms, front office was very nice and helpful. Cleaning staff was friendly and helpful also. Continental breakfast, a pool even though we didn't use it, internet service. Would recommend highly, would stay there again.

We assumed that for the price (very reasonable), it probably wasn't going to be the best hotel. We were wrong. Rooms were immaculate and spacey. Staff was exceptional. The ""make your own waffle"" for breakfast was quite a hit and we had quite a time getting the kids out of the pool. It was comfortable, clean and affordable. What else is there?

We found the hotel clean. Attractions were within a reasonable driving distance. The hotel was located close to many restaurants and amenities. We use a hotel for sleeping only. There was a good continental breakfast. We were in the second building so wireless was very poor on reception but the main building was fine. The air conditioner did not work well and where it was 80 plus degrees that would have been nice. We foumd prices in the restaurants to be a bit high but for the money we liked Sophia's best. It was family owned and operated. As we were leaving the pool was being setup but it looked a bit small for the size of the hotel. But if you simply want to get a good night's rest for a good price this is your place.

The room with fireplace and Jacuzzi is spectacular! Some rooms are not connected to main hotel and less attractive. This is the ideal hotel for travelers to Tanglewood and the surrounding areas in summer. Very clean and attractive accommodations at an extremely attractive rate. Breakfast is included, and the staff is pleasant.

Very clean. Decent staff and decent breakfast. Terrible smell in room of bleach and old smoke. Ended up staying in the annex portion of this hotel after specifically requesting not to stay. Was given one of the older rooms. The rooms furniture felt and looked old, including the mattresses. The room was extremely clean, but there was that horrible old hotel/former smoking room smell that was tough to handle. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. Though from the looks of other hotels in the area. The Berkshires are a Resort Town and the prices reflect that.

On second morning front desk arranged room change to room that was clearly non smoking. Asked non smoking room, yet room had very strong smell of cigarette smoke. Asked to be relocated but not possible, house keeping sent to spray room. Good location with good buffet breakfast. No internet access, indoor pool changing facilities consisted of one room with shower. Breakfast areas very small.

It was convenient. Furniture was outdated and needed to be replaced. I would have had a much more comfortable room at one of the chain hotels in the area.
