Facilities are in good condition. MN1208. Modern medium-rise building. Located on the corner of Liverpool Street and Wentworth Avenue, just off Hyde Park. Bus stops and train stations (Museum Station) are nearby. It takes about 10 minutes on foot to get to the heart of the city (Pitt Street Mall and George Street). Great access to nearby Oxford Street, which offers a wide variety of bars, cafes and shopping.

Bargain price for hotel in such a good location. I had a room with 3 beds all to myself.

A nice hotel with little room but a little too expensive for shared bathroom though.

The only room avail. was a dble without bathroom as we booked late. It was small but adequate and comfortable. Good location in Sydney and breakfast was good. Tea making supplies (tea bags,sugar) could be improved. We would stay again but book earlier next time and have a room with bathroom.

My wife and I found the whole experience of staying at the "Y" to be excellent in all respects including: polite effecient service, spotless accomodation, convenience of location to public transport and comfortable rooms. I will be most happy to syay there again and reccomend the "Y" to my friends.

I found the staff at Y Hyde Park very helpful and informative. I found my room very clean and the location was perfect....only about a 30min walk to Darling Harbour.

The location is very central and is close to the rail station. What I did not like was that the TV was placed on a shelf at an odd angle from the bed and the room key card did not work sometimes.

I got this room at [website] and paid $99 for 1 night. I would not have paid any more for it. It is very central and the rooms were clean but small with tea/coffee and TV bathrooms ideal for a night or 2 in the city but not a romantic stopover either.

Great hotel and close to all attractions and the underground. Double rooms (not ensuite) are on the smaller side if you have large cases it's a bit of a squish but a minor detail in my opinion. Good value.

The reception staff at check-in kept me waiting far too long while they answered phones etc., despite the fact that I had my arm in a sling and had just come 5,000 km and was tired and in pain. They did not seem to know their hotel's procedures.

Perfectly located near Hyde Park. Hotel is recently renovated, with modern rooms (not very big though). Very clean bathroom facilities. Lobby has internet access (not free), breakfast is okay buffet. Highly recommended for this price.
